CONTACT US HERE ABOUT THIS ITEM.
A randomly striped yellow and black bouquet vase from Elma Keramik. The decor name is unknown but strongly resembles one from Ilkra Keramik known as 'Cairo', which dates from the 1950s.
ELMA-KERAMIK LIEBHART KG was founded after WWII in Ransbach-Baumbach and existed until the early 1960s. They produced decorative ceramics in a modern style which have found favor among collectors of West German ceramics of the 1950s. Unfortunately, Elma-Keramik is another of the small ceramics factories that existed in post war Germany for which very little is known. No detailed information about the people involved in the design and manufacture has yet been found, although It is presumed that their production was relatively limited.
