RICHARD N. SUSSMAN was born in Minneapolis in 1908. He studied at the Minneapolis School of Art, the Art Students League in NYC, and privately with Hans Hofmann and George Grosz. Active in California and Minnesota, Sussman is known as a painter, printmaker, and designer. He died in 1971.
