19th CENTURY CAST IRON GARDEN CROSS WITH VIRGIN MARY

An antique, Victorian-era, cast-iron, French grave marker/garden ornament in the form of a cross, with a depiction of the Virgin Mary at its center, hands folded in prayer and encircled by a wreath of twelve roses. Other Christian/Marian flourishes include six-point stars, grapes, wheat, and a fleur-de-lis. It measures 46 ½" tall, including its spikes, and 24" wide and is in excellent condition with a very nice patina.
