An exceedingly rare, abstract, triangular, biomorphic vase from Don Shepherd's (pre-Blenko) "Glass America" line. Produced in 1971 at the Jonynas & Shepherd Glass Studio. It has three, rounded, vertical corners with textured surfaces between and a fire-polished pontil on its base. It stands 16.5" tall. The design predates his tenure at Blenko Glass by three years.
