CONTACT US HERE ABOUT THIS ITEM.
A set of low Sculptura side chairs designed in 1956 by Russell Woodard and produced by the Woodard Furniture Company of Owosso, Michigan, circa 1960. Four available as a set.
With its Sculptura line, Woodard Furniture became the first manufacturer to construct sculpted chairs without using expensive molds. In 1994, the classic Sculptura chair was added to the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum’s permanent collection. In response to the resurgence in popularity of mid-century modern furnishings, Woodard revived a limited range of the iconic collection in 2015, making it available in 30 colors and finishes.
