Cubist portrait of a woman applying lipstick executed in oil on fabric. The highly impastoed, sculptural surface was achieved by the addition of sand to the paint. Possibly dated 1991; we suspect the signature is written in a non-Latin alphabet. The handsome oak frame is new. [One of a trio.]
